According to Marca, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has chosen that Vinicius Junior will be in charge of the team’s penalty kicks this season.
The Brazilian will take the spot kicks before Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe, the new lads.
Mbappe, however, has been allocated to free kicks as he looks to make a major impact after joining the La Liga powerhouses.
Vinicius had a successful season with Real Madrid in 2023–2024.
Over 39 appearances in all competitions, he had 24 goals and 11 assists.
The 24-year-old is now a strong favorite to take home this year’s Ballon d’Or because of this.
